Alvin Jones, II

Executive Director

Serving in large enterprises in various industries for the past eleven years, Alvin has a track record as a leader of high performing organizations. As the Executive Director of Black Connect, Alvin will be dedicating his knowledge and experience to the development of staff and volunteers, Black Connect’s business networking platform, Black business resource programs, and local and college chapters, Alvin is devoted to reinforcing Black economics and businesses. Alvin has a bachelor’s degree in Finance, a MBA, and he is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Organization Development & Leadership. Samuel manning

National Grants Director

Since 1999, Samuel Manning has worked as a consultant, primarily working with small to mid-sized non-profit organizations writing grant proposals, prospect research, and developing fundraising plans. Projects range from writing proposals for a specific new program, to prospect research and fundraising guidance, to ongoing grant writing and development work. Prior to his consulting work, Sam’s recent grant writing accomplishment include grants as large as $500,000 for local non profits.

BRYANNA MONTGOMERY

PROGRAMS Coordinator

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Bryanna Montgomery studied Psychology at Kennesaw State University and is currently studying to get her master's degree in Social Work at the University of Georgia. Her educational background helped her gain excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. Bryanna is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The organization's principle of service aligns perfectly with Black Connect's mission and Bryanna's true passion for helping her community and transforming the lives of others.
