Recap of Business Law Day 2023
Join Us for a Business Event in NYC
In recognition of Law Day, which is held on May 1st every year to celebrate the role of law in our society and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal profession, Black Connect is hosting Business Law Day in Manhattan in partnership with Foley & Lardner, LLP.
This event focuses on business law for entrepreneurs and small business owners. The day includes panel discussions with attorneys sharing valuable information and insight and Black Connect members share the legal needs and issues that they have encountered along their entrepreneurial journey.
Topics include:
Legal considerations when forming a business
Dispute resolution and litigation
Cannabis regulations and business financing
Intellectual property protection and enforcement
Contract terms that can be harmful to small businesses
The event concludes with a business mixer.
