The Black Connect Ecosystem

Each part has its own identity.

Together, they are connected by design.

Black Connect

Infrastructure. Access. Opportunity.

Black Connect is the nonprofit mission anchor of the ecosystem. Founded to help close the gaps that limit Black business growth, Black Connect builds infrastructure that connects entrepreneurs, professionals, institutions, and communities to resources, relationships, and opportunities.

Through legal services, financial planning access, advocacy, strategic programming, and partner-driven initiatives, Black Connect focuses on the systems Black entrepreneurs and communities need but are often excluded from.

Black Connect’s role in the ecosystem:

Infrastructure — building pathways to support, services, and opportunity.
Access — connecting entrepreneurs and communities to trusted professionals, institutions, and networks.
Opportunity — creating environments where Black entrepreneurs can be seen, supported, and positioned for growth.

VillageSquare

Validation. Visibility. Connection.

VillageSquare is the market-facing platform within the ecosystem. It is designed to help entrepreneurs test ideas, gain feedback, build visibility, and connect with consumers, professionals, and supporters who can engage with their products, services, and stories.

For many entrepreneurs, traditional retail access is limited or unavailable, and social media has become the default path to market—not because it is designed for readiness, but because there are few alternatives. VillageSquare fills that void by creating an intentional environment for validation, visibility, and meaningful connection before broader market exposure.

Entrepreneurs can use VillageSquare to understand what resonates, refine their message, build early support, and prepare for broader market engagement. Professionals, consumers, and community members can discover businesses, share expertise, provide feedback, and support entrepreneurial growth.

VillageSquare’s role in the ecosystem:

Validation — helping entrepreneurs test ideas before scaling them.
Visibility — creating intentional space for businesses to be discovered.
Connection — bringing entrepreneurs, supporters, professionals, and market members into the same environment.

VillageSquare access is included with Black Connect membership. Current Black Connect members will be invited to onboard first. New members can join Black Connect to receive access as the platform rolls out.

GreenRose

Strategy. Coordination. Growth.

GreenRose is the strategic operating system of the Black Connect Ecosystem.

It provides the structure for moving from awareness to alignment, from ideas to execution, and from isolated efforts to measurable collective impact.

At its core, GreenRose is a system for coordination. It helps leaders, organizations, entrepreneurs, institutions, and communities clarify priorities, assign roles, align resources, measure progress, and build accountability around shared goals.

The GreenRose Systems Manual introduces the framework, language, and discipline behind the system. It explains how communities can move beyond reaction, visibility, and service alone toward coordinated strategy, institutional responsibility, and collective progress.

GreenRose is not theory. It is the discipline of building what communities need, connecting what already exists, and measuring whether the work is moving us closer to self-determination, autonomy, and self-sufficiency.

GreenRose’s role in the ecosystem:

Strategy — defining the goal and the path forward.
Coordination — aligning people, resources, timing, and execution.
Growth — measuring progress and building sustainable impact.

Built for Economic Independence

The Black Connect Ecosystem exists to help build the economic base needed for Black American economic independence.

It is designed for entrepreneurs building businesses, professionals contributing expertise, consumers making intentional choices, institutions opening access, and communities coordinating around shared priorities.

The work requires not just connection. It requires coordinated movement.
